The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Financial Controller to join our client’s busy treasury department. You'll work closely with their Partners, ensuring smooth financial operations and contributing to the wider success of our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage associated transactions
- Post financial data using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare month-end Management Accounts and journals
- Oversee day-to-day financial transactions
- Support cost control efforts alongside Treasury Partners
- Manage and lead Treasury team performance
- Prepare financial documents such as invoices, accounts payable and receivable
- Handle and process payment runs and BACS submissions
- Maintain accurate financial files and records
- Carry out ad hoc tasks and general accounts administration

The Ideal Candidate:
They’re looking for a confident and organised professional with a keen eye for detail. You'll be ready to lead a team, handle deadlines with ease, and work closely with stakeholders across the practice. About you:
- A minimum of AAT qualification
- At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with QuickBooks and Xero
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A logical mindset with professional, self-motivated attitude
- High discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
