Refuse Loader required for work in Canterbury.
Bookings will be made on a daily basis.
The work is subject to an induction where full training will be provided.
Hours of work typically 06.45 15.15, but end times may vary.
To help us offer you regular work, if you are open to van driving assignments in the local area we can also discuss this with you.
Benefits of working for Driver Hire as a Refuse Collection Loader:
- £12.35-14.12 per hour, paid weekly on a Friday through PAYE model
- Regular work to suit your needs, full time or part time, Monday-Friday

Requirements to be a Refuse Loader:
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role taking note of being on foot for a lot of your shift
- Happy to work outside in all weathers
- Ability to work as part of a team to complete rounds and assisting residents and businesses where required
- Ability to work safely following Health and Safety guidelines
- Polite and proactive attitude
- Flexibility to work bank holidays is favourable
Responsibilities of being a Refuse Collector:
- Following a dustcart on foot being mindful of passing traffic and public passersby
- Collecting and loading household waste and or recycling into the dustcart
- Operating bin lift machinery
- Banks man duties to safe manoeuvring and reversing of the vehicle
Parking is available and the client is within walking distance of Canterbury East station.
