Academics in Canterbury are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) to work across a range of lovely primary schools in areas including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone/Hythe, and surrounding villages. Whether you're looking for your first permanent role, a long-term placement, or flexible day-to-day supply to gain experience, we have opportunities to suit your needs and build your confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom where every child feels valued and supported
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, adapting your teaching to meet individual needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school's values and ethos

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, events, and activities

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve it this academic year
  • A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
  • Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
