About The Company:A growing business that has gone from strength to strength in recent years, they are actively looking to bring in a Head of Finance.The Role:We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our client. The position will lead to further growth as the company makes progress in new markets.Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, aligning production volumes, raw material costs, and labour requirements with business goals to ensure accuracy and agility in a volatile manufacturing market.
  • Supply Chain Management – Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to control raw material costs, reduce lead times, and improve inventory turnover, maximising cost efficiency while maintaining product quality.
  • Financial Analysis – Deliver actionable insights on product margins, cost drivers, and operational efficiency, enabling leadership to prioritise high-value product lines and identify opportunities for profit growth.
  • Reporting – Produce timely management reports and dynamic financial models, integrating manufacturing KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and yield rates to enhance strategic planning and investment decisions.
Desirable Skills:
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting & supply chain finance within an SME environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software & Excel.
