Temporary Electrical Lecturer
Location: Canterbury
Hours: 24 contact hours per week

We are seeking a Temporary Electrical Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and training to students. This role will focus on supporting learners at both Level 2 and apprenticeship levels, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the electrical industry.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Level 2 (8202-20)
  • Phase 2 Apprentices - City & Guilds
  • Phase 3 Apprentices - City & Guilds

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong understanding of City & Guilds qualifications listed above.
    • Ability to deliver and assess all practical elements of electrical installation.
    • Teaching and training experience within a further education or apprenticeship setting is desirable.

As a Lecturer you will:

  • Deliver engaging teaching and training to learners across a variety of learning environments.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Take responsibility for the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes and courses.
  • Ensure a high-quality learning experience for all learners.

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.
