Senior Commercial Property Legal Secretary – Canterbury Are you a highly organised, process-driven Legal Secretary with experience in property law? A leading law firm in Canterbury is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Legal Secretary to support a dynamic and friendly team. The Role:Join a thriving commercial property department, working alongside one partner and three lawyers in a collaborative, open-plan office. This role offers the chance to be a key part of a respected team, where your expertise will be valued from day one. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the commercial property team with a full range of secretarial duties
  • Handling audio dictation, document production, and file management (opening/closing)
  • Submitting and calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax forms
  • Liaising with clients and estate agents
  • Preparing lease extensions, deeds, and other legal documentation
  • Ordering searches and document copies from Companies House
  • Diary management and administrative coordination for the team
 The Ideal Candidate:
  • Solid experience in property law – ideally commercial, but residential property experience will also be considered
  • Process-focused, adaptable, and highly organised
  • Comfortable working closely with one partner while supporting the wider team
