An esteemed AJ100 practice with a rich history and a reputation for design excellence is looking for a talented Senior Architect to join their thriving Canterbury studio on a permanent basis.
Established over a number of decades with a team of over 250 architects, designers, heritage consultants, and surveyors across 14 UK and international offices, this is a unique opportunity to join a practice that offers both creative freedom and scale.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a strong design sensibility and a passion for projects rooted in Conservation and Heritage. You'll be part of a dynamic team delivering projects across multiple sectors, contributing to beautifully considered architecture that respects and elevates historical contexts.
You'll take the lead across all RIBA work stages and demonstrate confidence in managing projects from concept to completion. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit will set you apart.
Key Requirements:
- RIBA Chartered Architect
- Minimum 10 years' post-qualification UK experience
- Proven track record of project running across design and delivery phases
- Strong technical knowledge and site experience
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop
- Revit and BIM experience - essential
- Excellent design, drawing and presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of UK Building and Planning Regulations
