Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Reed Engineering is excited to announce that they are working with a UK leading manufacturer who provide bespoke solutions for their customer base. We are working closely with them to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on a full-time permanent basis

As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will have solid mechanical & electrical capabilities and work closely with the Maintenance & Production Manager and have responsibility to better the procedures and methods to ensure machine / plant capacity is maximised and achieve process improvements.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • You will have responsibility for all production equipment. Both mechanical & electrical maintenance & breakdowns
  • Your role requires you to monitor and take action where required across all process equipment, ensuring machinery / equipment efficiency is maximised and maintained in a safe working order
  • To create, manage and monitor preventative maintenance schedules for all areas of production.
  • Working with the maintenance team to fix breakdowns to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment

Skills and experience include:

  • Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and the ability to be actively ‘hands on’ when dealing with engineering related problems.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety
