We are working with a well-established, food manufacturer that is about to enter its busiest three months, and they need a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to step in immediately and drive operations forward.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, results-driven production leader. The right candidate will play a critical role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining exceptional standards in food safety, quality, and efficiency.
The Role
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs seamlessly during this peak period. You'll need a strategic mindset alongside a strong leadership approach, keeping teams engaged and driving performance in a demanding, time-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight - Managing site-wide operations to meet demand while maintaining efficiency and food safety.
Team Leadership - Leading production teams, ensuring engagement, motivation, and productivity.
Food Safety & Compliance - Maintaining high-care food safety regulations, hygiene protocols, and quality assurance processes.
Process Optimisation - Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
Problem-Solving Under Pressure - Managing challenges proactively to ensure smooth operations during this peak period.
What they're Looking For:
Proven experience in food manufacturing, ideally within high-care environments.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing production teams.
Hands-on approach, capable of making quick, effective decisions under pressure.
Ability to plan and schedule a busy and fast production phases
