As a Teacher of Music, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching engaging and practical music lessons at KS3 and KS4, aligned with curriculum goals.
• Planning and preparing lesson materials that promote creativity, discipline, and musical understanding.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on students’ progress, while providing constructive feedback.
• Contributing to the department through participation in after-school meetings, training, and occasional extracurricular activities.
• Ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel encouraged and inspired.

To be considered for the Music Teacher role, you must:
• Be a qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialise in Music, with strong subject knowledge and previous experience teaching at secondary level.
• Be confident in planning, delivering, and marking lessons, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Be committed to contributing to the wider school life and ongoing professional development.
• Be able to start as soon as possible and commit to a full-time, long-term position.
