Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking business covering Kent and London, is looking for an Office Administrator to join their team during a pivotal time of expansion. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of shaping the future of a growing and ambitious company.
About the Role:As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring a seamless administrative function across the business. Your focus will be on upholding customer satisfaction by ensuring all internal processes are followed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer the phone to screen calls - assist customers with admin queries, or forwarding calls and recording accurate messages for colleagues.
- Take sales enquiries via phone or email - gathering all required data to set up the customer in CRM software and scheduling initial surveys or jobs.
- Monitor company email inboxes - forward emails to colleagues or answering queries received.
- Assisting the team with deliveries, returns and ordering of equipment from key suppliers.
- Assisting the Servicing Administrator with booking and confirming engineering appointments.
- Draft, format, and print relevant documentation, photocopying and filing.
- Have frequent interaction with Company Directors and Managers, supporting their requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Support adherence to business procedures and standards.
- Help ensure the smooth running of office operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel where required.
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and diligent approach to work.
- Confident communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Ability to act with confidentiality, tact and discretion.
- Education level at GCSE/ equivalent or above in English and Maths.
