Academics in Canterbury are looking for dedicated and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.

What you'll do as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN

• Assist with personalised learning activities and inclusion in class

• Encourage confidence, independence, and positive communication

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure progress

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school, nursery, or care setting)

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

• Flexibility to work across different schools and needs

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
