About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpentry Lecturer to teach and assess Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery students. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, training, and assessment across a range of learning environments, while supporting learners to reach their full potential.

You will also play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes of study, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach, train, and assess learners on the Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery programme.
  • Deliver high-quality sessions covering 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, and structural carcassing.
  • Provide support, guidance, and feedback to learners to help them achieve their qualifications.
  • Lead on designated study programmes, ensuring effective planning, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Significant industry knowledge and experience in 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, and structural carcassing.
  • TAQA Assessor Award (essential).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting and motivating learners.

Desirable:

  • Previous teaching or training experience within further education or vocational training.
  • Teaching qualification
