Job Title: HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver
Location:Canvey Island
Salary:16.00 per hour
Hours:Monday to Friday, 7am start, 36 hours per week
My client, a well respected local authority, is recruiting forHGV Class 2 Dustcart Driversto join their team in Canvey Island.
As anHGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will play a key role in supporting local services by carrying out waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently. Drivers may also be required to assist with loading, so a flexible and team focused approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Driving aHGV Class 2 Dustcartacross local collection routes

Ensuring all waste and recycling collections are completed safely and on schedule

Assisting with loading duties when required

Following health and safety procedures at all times
Preferred Skills and Experience:
-
Previous dustcart driving experience is desirable

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Good knowledge of Castle Point borough and surrounding routes is an advantage
