We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be tasked with managing and processing all invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment.

Description
- Processing and verifying invoices and expense forms.
- Managing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintaining vendor files and correspondence with vendors.
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions.
- Preparing analysis of accounts.
- Providing supporting documentation for audits.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- A thorough understanding of accounts payable principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in using financial software packages.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to manage workload and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Accounting & Finance laws and regulations.
