We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be tasked with managing and processing all invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment.

Description

  • Processing and verifying invoices and expense forms.
  • Managing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Maintaining vendor files and correspondence with vendors.
  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions.
  • Preparing analysis of accounts.
  • Providing supporting documentation for audits.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • A thorough understanding of accounts payable principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in using financial software packages.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage workload and prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable Accounting & Finance laws and regulations.
