The Role

This is a hands-on and varied position, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the finance function. Responsibilities include:

  • Processing purchase and sales ledger entries

  • Entering and reconciling bank transactions

  • Reconciling payment gateways

  • Preparing VAT returns

  • Preparing final balances and processing refunds

  • Managing credit control within the sales ledger

  • Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc accounting duties

  • Maintaining accurate customer financial records within a bespoke database

The Experience You'll Bring
  • Experience in a similar finance or accounts role

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
