Team Manager - Court Specialist / PLO & Court Work

Location: Cardiff CouncilPay Rate: £51.38/hour

About the Role:This specialist role offers a career pathway for experienced practitioners to lead through practice rather than team management. The focus is on complex court work under the Public Law Outline (PLO) and supporting the development of other practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on complex court cases under PLO.

  • Ensure children remain safely within their families where possible.

  • Provide supervision, support, and guidance to colleagues on PLO and court matters.

Requirements:

  • Social Work degree (or equivalent)

  • Registered with Social Care Wales

  • Strong managerial experience in children's services

  • Court team experience

  • Valid DBS on the Update Service
