Hydraulic Engineer (Lead / Senior)

Salary up to £50,000 + OTE Up to £65,000 (Including Bonuses + Call Out) + Company Vehicle + All Equipment Provided

Hydraulic Engineer required for a leading manufacturer and service provider. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join an expanding company who are a part of an international group.

This role would suit an experienced hydraulics engineer with leadership experience. You will ideally have experience working with hydraulic hoses and candidates from similar backgrounds such as plant maintenance, HGVs or agricultural machinery are encouraged to apply.

The successful Senior Hydraulic Engineer will be responsible for overseeing a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out hydraulic hose replacements and related services at customer sites across Cardiff and surrounding areas. You will lead and mentor the team but will be expected to regularly visit customer sites to support with hands-on activities.

The Hydraulic Engineer Role:

· Lead, mentor and motivate engineering team

· Train and onboard new starters

· Carry out replacements and repair of hydraulic hoses on customer sites

· Support with customer and sales support as a key point of contact

· Identification of new sales opportunities and up-sells

The Hydraulic Engineer Candidate:

· Experience in hydraulics – hydraulic hoses, plant, HGVs, agricultural or similar

· Leadership experience or experience in a trainer role
