The client
Our client is a leading M&E Multi-disciplinary design consultancy, privately owned with offices across the South West. A unique opportunity has presented itself to become a fundamental member of a growing team of engineers.
The role
Due to a period of successful project wins, with an order book well into 2025, they are now looking to bolster their MEP design team in Cardiff with the addition of an Intermediate or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Although the company is well established, with a team of 30 in Cardiff, you will benefit from working closely with Senior members of staff who can offer direct opportunities to get involved with a wide variety of schemes.

The requirements
Ideally, you will have experience working within a similar consultancy setting and have experience working on schemes from either Healthcare, Education, Healthcare or Multi-use sectors. You will be, or working towards obtaining Chartership status, have a strong degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and be comfortable/have some experience in taking a lead on projects and liaising with clients. You will be ambitious, keen to develop your experience and get stuck in on projects - as you will not be pigeonholed.
The package
You can expect to earn anywhere between £40,000 - £50,000 (but negotiable for the right person). You'll benefit from Hybrid working, modern office, with private medical, one professional subscription paid and the opportunity to quickly develop your experience, with a clear route leading to promotion.
