Our client, an architecture practice, has an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join their team!

The role:

  • Delivering a mix of professional services (condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned preventative maintenance schedules).
  • Leading on project-based work, including the design, project management, and contract administration of refurbishment projects.
  • Managing projects ranging in value from £0-2m under NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Working across a variety of sectors, including Higher Education, Student Living, Healthcare, Education, Defence, Custodial, and Public Sector projects.
  • Working independently with limited supervision, while collaborating with the wider team as needed.

Key skills/experience:

  • 2-3 years post-qualification experience (ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership).
  • Strong project experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel (knowledge of Microsoft Project and Revit is desirable)
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic, and timely surveying services.
