Job Title:          Painter and Decorator         Type:                 Temporary Contract (6 months minimum with likely extension)Location:           Vale of Glamorgan       Salary:               £14.84 - £16.10 per hourHours:               37 hours a week         BRC are working closely with a local authority  and are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent qualification) and possess proven experience in both internal and external painting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out high-quality painting and decorating work on a variety of internal and external projects
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of professional painters as part of an ongoing painting program running through to September
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and attention to detail
  • Transition to working on void properties during periods of unsuitable weather for external projects
 Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in both external and internal painting and decorating
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent punctuality and time management
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to work independently when required
