Coaching AssessorHoop PS&HR are proud to be working closely with a forward thinking and employee focused organisation who are currently looking for a Coaching Assessor to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This position is based in Cardiff and comes with a salary of up to £28,000.We're looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our client and help drive meaningful, positive outcomes through the delivery of high-quality training. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting learners to succeed while contributing to the continuous improvement of overall performance.As a key member of the team, you’ll be supporting learners to reach their full potential by delivering engaging, high-quality training tailored to their individual needs. You'll work across a regional area supporting learners develop valuable skills that support both their personal growth and career progression.Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering training programmes to assigned learners, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
  • Visiting learners in the workplace, providing hands on support and conducting assessments in real working environments.
  • Creating Individual Learning Plans and mapping out clear, achievable learning routes for each learner.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including attendance and guided contact hours, to meet funding and audit requirements.
  • Contributing to performance targets, helping learners achieve their goals and supporting overall team success.
  • Developing course materials that make learning meaningful, accessible, and relevant.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve course delivery and learner outcomes.
  • Recording learner achievements and ensuring all awarding body criteria are met.
  • Providing additional learner support as needed to help every individual succeed.
Requirements:
  • A solid understanding of Safeguarding and the Prevent Duty, alongside previous assessor experience.
  • Understanding of publicly funded training programmes (desirable).
  • Hands on experience delivering training with a background in Work-Based Learning.
  • Familiarity with Award Body processes and practices.
  • CAVA (or equivalent) qualification
  • ESW Communication Level 2
  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification
  • City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in Supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills (or a willingness to work towards it)
  • Skills
  • Strong organisational and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent Welsh speaker (desirable)
