This 4-office multi-disciplinary consultancy are a well-established firm now seeking to bolster their new and growing MEP team. They have grown from a specialised Civil/Structural and Geotechnical Engineering firm into a larger multi-disciplinary now looking to capitalise on their success and growth. The current MEP team is predominantly based out of their Cardiff Office and is around 7-8 engineers with a space for an Electrical Engineer to balance the team.

Projects wise, their MEP team have secured some unique projects including industrial recycling plants, rail infrastructure, commercial new builds, Swimming pools etc. This is a perfect opportunity for a Cardiff-based Electrical Building Services Engineer to join an established consultancy and assist with the growth of a new MEP branch.

A successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 3+ years' experience within a consultancy environment
  • Strong working knowledge of regulations, electrical design, and installations.
  • Experience with detailed design (RIBA stages 3-4)
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, DiaLUX and Relux
  • Experience generating reports, design schematics and attending clients/contractor meetings.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop as an Engineer.
