Your Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, your focus will be on minimising downtime and improving plant reliability:

  • Respond to breakdowns and contribute to long-term reliability strategies

  • Use FMEA, RCM, and predictive maintenance (PdM) tools

  • Maintain and repair pumps, boilers, compressors, pipelines, and pressure vessels

  • Operate condition monitoring tools (vibration, thermography, ultrasound)

  • Keep CMMS systems up-to-date and enhance maintenance workflows

  • Supervise contractors during shutdowns, turnarounds, and projects

What We're Looking For
  • Completed Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications

  • Hands-on, practical experience in mechanical maintenance

  • Familiarity with industrial safety systems (CMMS, permits, risk assessments)

  • Previous work in heavy industrial or COMAH environments is highly desirable
