Assistant Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Are you ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career? You'll be joining a respected, growing consultancy in Cardiff where your ideas, technical input, and development really matter.
You will be part of a collaborative civil and structural engineering team working on exciting projects across Wales, the South West, and throughout the UK. You will be:
路Assisting in the design of highways, drainage, and external works for a range of development infrastructure projects.
路Preparing detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical reports in line with current industry standards.
路Supporting the delivery of adoptable works under Section 104, 106, and 278 agreements.
路Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
路Liaising with clients, local authorities, and external partners under the guidance of senior engineers.
路Visiting sites for surveys, inspections, and progress reviews.
路Developing your technical and professional skills as you work towards professional registration with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

You'll bring:
路A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
路Around 1-3 years' experience in a UK consultancy or a similar environment.
路Working knowledge of design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or Causeway Flow), and AutoCAD.
路A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong communication skills.
路A keen interest in infrastructure design and a passion for continued professional development.
路The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
