We're looking for an Environmental Manager, HSQE to lead on compliance and sustainability across major civil engineering and construction projects between Bridgend and Swindon. This role is ideal for an Environmental Manager, HSQE who wants to combine technical expertise with career progression in a supportive, ambitious business.


Key responsibilities
As an Environmental Manager (HSQE), you'll:
路Develop and manage Environmental Management Plans.
路Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and planning conditions.
路Carry out audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
路Liaise with regulators and local authorities.
路Drive sustainability - waste reduction, carbon management, biodiversity.
路Support BREEAM/CEEQUAL certifications.
路Provide training and toolbox talks.
路Lead investigations into incidents and non-conformances.


What we're looking for
To succeed as an Environmental Manager (HSQE), you'll need:
路A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
路Experience in construction/civil engineering environmental management.
路Strong knowledge of UK legislation and ISO 14001 systems.
路NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (or equivalent).
路Professional membership (IEMA, CIWEM) is desirable.
