We are currently working exclusively with a successful data management company who now wish to appoint Finance & Risk Manager. Reporting to MD this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business as Finance & Risk Manager. The role of Finance & Risk Manager will maintain all accounting records for the business including preparing bank reconciliations, calculating accruals & prepayments and invoicing. - Preparation of monthly management pack including cashflow forecasting
- Preparing annual statements including liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of annual budget
- Review the tax return and liaise with tax advisors
- Monitoring cash and funding requirements
- Overseeing Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
- In partnership with senior management determine the level of risk appetite for the business
The Company:
- A successful and growing specialist data management business. Offering specialist services as part of a large European financial services group. Hybrid working; 1/2 days per week work from home.
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experienced of working in a small finance team preferably with financial services or IT. Other professional services sectors will be considered.
- Prior exposure to RCSA’s would be beneficial
- Willing to review current process and procedures and make recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills. Verbal and written.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel.
- Experience of MS Business Central would be beneficial
Salary:
- £55k - £62k plus bonus, pension, dental/health, 25 days
