Description
- Oversee the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
- Conduct analysis and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting within the Transport & Distribution industry.
- Guide the accounting department to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in alignment with company policies.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- ACCA, ACA or equivalent (finalists will also be considered).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
- Ability to work in Cardiff and to adapt in a Transport & Distribution environment.
