We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join an amazing high street fashion brand on a 9 month fixed term contract.

As a Buyer, your role will involve collaborating in the development, sourcing, and delivery of a trendy and commercially viable product range. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the balance between creativity and commerciality, ultimately driving the success of the brand in a competitive landscape.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Source, select and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimum product, prices and terms of contract. Utilizing supplier’s expertise to improve range and knowledge
  • Lead meetings at Director/Head of level ensuring effecting key information is communicated and any actions are completed within the set timescales.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure the successful launch of new product lines/seasonal collections and other company initiatives.
  • Works collaboratively with the merchandising team to monitor and control trade, in order to ensure stock turn, margin targets and profit levels are achieved;
  • Review and analyses sales data, identifying top performing product/lines, ensuring data driven decisions are made for future lines/intakes and recommendations for improvement made and presented.

  • Must have come from a buying background
  • Happy to work in the office 5 x a week.
  • A passion for trends who excels in driving newness in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value, cost prices, and lead times.
