As a Food & Nutrition teacher, you’ll be dishing out your expertise to inspire the next generation of culinary creators. You’ll guide students in exploring food preparation, nutrition, and kitchen safety while whipping up innovative lesson plans that are both educational and appetizing!
Your job will involve:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons – from knife skills to nutrition labels, and everything in between!
- Assessing and tracking progress – because every great chef was once a beginner!
- Creating a fun and inclusive classroom
- Nurturing students’ creativity – who knows, you might inspire the next MasterChef!
- Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards
What You’ll Need to Bring to the Table:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – because the kitchen’s no place for amateurs!
- Enhanced DBS Check – keeping classrooms as safe as your kitchen!
- EWC Registration – this isn’t your first rodeo, right?
