Masker / Operator Inspector – Night Shift
Location: Cardiff
Shift Pattern: 2 days per week Twilight 4.00pm to 2.00am
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Are you detail-oriented and experienced in prep and finishing work? We are currently seeking a Masker / Operator Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team in Cardiff on a night shift basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing components for the production and finishing process
- Accurately masking parts with tape in readiness for painting
- Loading and unloading components, including manual handling tasks
- Conducting visual inspections and using alignment gauges to ensure quality standards
- Performing hand filing when required
- Cleaning components before final inspection
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in preparation and polish work within a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in sanding, masking, priming, and polishing techniques
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
- Strong team player with a proactive and reliable attitude
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
