We are excited to announce that we are seeking a Buyer to join a prominent high street fashion brand on a permanent basis.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in the development, sourcing, and delivery of a stylish and commercially successful product range. Your expertise will be crucial in striking the right balance between innovative design and market viability, thereby contributing significantly to the brand's success in a highly competitive industry.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Operates an effective and timely product sign off process, in line with the critical path and planning cycle;
  • Leading the department in driving trend-led collections with the right level newness/fashion/trend.
  • Takes responsibility for maximising profit on the department through strong negotiation and development of global supplier relations;
  • Trade the department and analyse relevance of new and emerging trends for the brand and plan accordingly.
  • Plans and builds a commercially balanced range, whilst achieving margin targets as set by company;
  • Drives regular departmental product reviews, ensuring coordination across departments in terms of trends, looks and colour palettes.

About you:

  • Must have come from a fashion buying background
  • Happy to work in the office 5 x a week.
  • A passion for trends who excels in driving newness in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value, cost prices, and lead times.
