Deputy Manager - Cardiff


30k plus depending on experience
Immediate start available and interview to be arranged straight away 9am-5pm Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of care.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure sustainability.
  • Engage with families and external stakeholders to promote the service.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in care and support.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within adult services.
  • Strong understanding of CIW regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
