One of my local goverment clientsis seeking a skilled Employment Solicitor to join its Litigation Team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal advice and representation on a range of employment law matters across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive advice on all aspects of employment law, policy, and governance.

Manage and conduct litigation, including preparation and representation at Employment Tribunals (ET) and Courts.

Act as an advocate for the Council when required.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Essential Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with experience in employment law.

Demonstrated experience representing clients in Employment Tribunals and litigation matters.

Strong knowledge of public sector legal frameworks and governance.

Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
