Catering Supervisor

Location: Cardiff

Pay Rate: 12.96 per hour weekdays | Saturdays & Nights 17.50 | Sundays & Bank Holidays 21.90

Hours: Term time only. 37.5 hours per week.

You will work 5 shifts across 7 days between the hours of 06:00 am - 01:00 am

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

The Role

Manpower is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee operations across busy retail and catering units in Cardiff. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilties

  • Supervise and support catering teams across multiple units.
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.
  • Assist with rota planning, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Deliver excellent service during busy periods and support the team on the floor as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous catering or hospitality supervisory experience is essential.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (support provided if needed).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
