Are you a driven and experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? I'm working closely with a leading real estate consultancy known for delivering some of the UK's most high-profile and complex planning projects. They're now looking to grow their Cardiff-based team with the addition of a talented Senior Town Planner.



The Opportunity

Based in modern city-centre offices (with hybrid flexibility), you'll work across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments - often on high-profile or sensitive planning applications that shape communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a variety of planning projects, including site appraisals, planning applications, and appeals

  • Provide expert planning advice to a diverse client base including developers, landowners, local authorities, and investors

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Support and mentor junior members of the team

  • Engage in business development and contribute to the growth of the regional planning offer



About You:

  • MRTPI qualified, with several years' experience in a consultancy or local authority environment

  • Confident working on complex planning applications and managing clients directly

  • Strong knowledge of Welsh and UK planning policy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ambitious, collaborative, and commercially minded
