TSR Legal are proud to be working with a well-established and client-focused law firm based in Cardiff, who are now looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner (2–3 years PQE) to join their expanding property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor, legal executive, or experienced conveyancer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive firm.

About the Role:

You will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion, handling a wide range of matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, new build, and transfer of equity cases. The role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a reputable team that values both technical ability and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish
  • Drafting contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to progress transactions efficiently
  • Carrying out and reviewing title checks, searches, and reports on title
  • Ensuring SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications are dealt with promptly
  • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supporting junior team members as needed and contributing to the development of the department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 2–3 years' PQE as a conveyancer, solicitor, or legal executive handling their own caseload
  • Solid technical knowledge of the conveyancing process
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A proactive approach and keen attention to detail
  • Experience using case management systems and confidence with IT tools
