We are seeking a self-motivated Corporate Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in corporate law to join our client's dynamic team. This role is perfect for a lawyer with a strong background in corporate law, eager to contribute to a variety of challenging and high-profile transactions.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence investigations for corporate transactions, identifying potential risks and advising clients on mitigation strategies.
  • Handle litigation issues such as disputes or claims, representing the client in court when necessary.
  • Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, provide tailored legal solutions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm’s corporate practice.
  • Keep abreast of changes in corporate law and regulations and ensure that all processes adhere to current best practices and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to corporate transactions and client interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Manage and run your own caseload of files.
  • Manage a small team of Legal Assistants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of PQE in corporate law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and clients simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate law and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing complex corporate legal work.
  • Experience in supervising junior legal staff.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the corporate environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
