Overview:

We are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded, long-established law firm with a strong reputation for client care and professional excellence. Due to continued growth in their property department, they are looking to appoint a Senior Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy and friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancer to take the next step in their career within a supportive and reputable legal practice.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction through to post-completion, with minimal supervision. You will be expected to provide an efficient, high-quality service to clients and third parties, while also supporting junior colleagues where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a full range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold matters
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation including contracts and reports on title
  • Conducting title checks and dealing with searches, enquiries, and Land Registry matters
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate case records using a case management system
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQS and AML procedures
  • Assisting with the mentoring and supervision of junior team members, if required

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in residential conveyancing in a fee-earning capacity
  • The ability to manage their own caseload independently and efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold, and new build transactions
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Previous experience with case management systems and good general IT skills
