Managing Director, Manufacturing, Based in South Wales, £100K Basic + bonuses + full executive package. This is not just another general management position; it is an opportunity to shape the future of a thriving UK manufacturer, supported by the strength of a global leader.

We are looking for an experienced Managing Director or General Manager with proven experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will oversee three separate silos, each led by Directors, and a total staff remit of circa 45. The role is replacing the incumbent MD, who is retiring, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with them in the first few weeks to fully understand the business and ensure you are given the best possible chance to succeed. The company is part of a UK Group, which in turn is owned by a global engineering conglomerate.

In Return, as the Managing Director, You Will Receive.

  • A starting base salary of approximately £100,000, along with a profit-share bonus of around £20,000 based on achieving Year One targets.
  • A comprehensive executive benefits package is included, including a car or car allowance.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
