Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer with some experience in plant rooms and building services, looking to grow your skills and work on low-carbon and district-energy projects?

On offer is the chance to work on exciting low-carbon and district-energy projects, learning from experienced engineers and seeing your designs come to life on site. No two days are the same - you'll get hands-on experience across design, site surveys, and project coordination.

In this role, you'll join a specialist consultancy at the forefront of low-carbon heating and district-energy projects. You'll be part of high-profile projects, working closely with a friendly, experienced team, while gaining exposure to all stages of mechanical design and building-services engineering.

This role would suit a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer or graduate engineer who is eager to develop their skills in plant room design and building services, and gain practical, hands-on experience across a variety of projects.

The Role:

  • Support the development of mechanical designs for plant rooms and building services, including schematics, GA drawings, and technical specifications
  • Assist with site surveys, attend project meetings, and support installations and commissioning
  • Learn to manage design deliverables, procurement packs, and support tendering processes
  • Work alongside senior engineers, gaining mentorship and guidance to develop your skills
  • 40-hour week - Flexi hours - 9am - 5pm.

The Person:

  • Degree, HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or similar
  • Some experience or placement experience in mechanical design or building services
  • Commutable to Cardiff
