Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in plant rooms and building services, looking to work on low-carbon and district energy projects from concept through to completion?

In this role, you'll join a specialist consultancy at the forefront of low-carbon heating and district-energy projects. This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in plant rooms and building services who wants to be involved in low-carbon and district-energy projects from concept through to completion.

The Role:

• Develop mechanical designs for plant rooms and building services, including schematics, GA drawings, technical specifications, and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.
• Manage design deliverables, procurement packs, and support tendering processes across multiple projects.
• Conduct site surveys, attend client/project meetings, oversee installations, and witness plant commissioning.
• Delegate tasks to junior engineers and support their professional development while contributing to wider project and bid support.
• 40-hour week - Flexi hours - 9am - 5pm.

The Person:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or similar
• Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
• Commutable to Cardiff
