Your new companyThis is a fantastic opportunity to join the busy marketing team of this well-known organisation in their Cardiff-based HQ, in a newly created role as a Social Media Manager. You will be responsible for developing an organic social media strategy to increase online engagement and brand awareness. Your new roleYou will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive social media strategies across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, with the purpose of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement. You will develop a content strategy, creating a content calendar to deliver a mix of messaging. You will create engaging content, aligned to social media platforms, trends and audiences. You will work collaboratively with external agencies, as well as with cross-functional teams, including e-commerce and PR, to establish cohesive and successful campaigns. You will monitor social media analytics to track performance and generate regular reports to be shared with senior management teams. What you'll need to succeedYou will have a degree in Marketing or a related field, with previous experience of managing multiple social media channels in a busy environment. You will be organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and launch successful campaigns, on time and within budget. The creative ability to generate fresh and innovative content, and the analytical skills to interpret data and identify insights to inform future strategies. The ability to coach / mentor a junior member of staff.What you'll get in returnThis is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of up to £33,000. 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) which increases with length of service to 33 days.
