Competitive salary + great benefitsWe’re working with a top-tier regional law firm that’s looking for a Compliance Manager to join their collaborative Cardiff office.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid compliance background who’s ready to step into a broad, hands-on role. You’ll be supporting the Head of Best Practice & Risk in managing everything from professional indemnity claims to AML, policy reviews, and internal audits. The Role?
  • Overseeing professional indemnity claims and client complaint handling
  • Investigating and managing compliance breaches (data and regulatory)
  • Supporting AML and client onboarding reviews and policies
  • Helping lead internal audits, risk reporting, and vetting activities
  • Working with legal teams to manage queries around AML, conflicts, sanctions, and regulatory updates
  • Keeping registers, reporting tools, and shared inboxes organised and up to date
  • Collaborating cross-functionally across the business
About you?
  • Experience in compliance, risk, or quality within the legal sector
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and a knack for auditing or investigations
  • Confident communicator who’s comfortable managing sensitive matters
  • Solid project management and attention to detail
  • Someone who thrives working as part of a close-knit team, but can hold their own
