A leading UK construction and property services provider, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team immediately on an exciting high-rise new build residential project in Cardiff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced project and make an immediate impact during a key phase of delivery.
Role Overview:
You'll take ownership of commercial duties on site, supporting with subcontractor management, valuations, and cost reporting while ensuring financial targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Oversee cost tracking and budgeting
- Liaise with subcontractors and manage payments
- Support month-end reporting and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with contract terms (NEC/JCT)
Requirements:
- Strong background as a Quantity Surveyor in new build or high-rise residential construction
- Solid understanding of NEC or JCT contract frameworks
- Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen
- Immediately available and able to commit to a 3-month contract
- Cardiff-based or able to commute daily
- CSCS card
