Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Cardiff

The Resolute Group is proud to be partnering with a well-established building services contractor based in South Wales, operating across the commercial and industrial sectors with a recent turnover of approximately £40m.

Location: Cardiff

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Salary Expectation: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car allowance

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will join an ambitious team delivering high valued projects within building services.

Day to day responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor

  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients
  • Prepare and submit monthly interim payment applications
  • Produce monthly project cashflow forecasts and CVRs
  • Monitor payment receipts and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Assess and verify subcontractor applications and invoices with Project Managers
  • Process draft subcontract payments and issue payment notices
  • Create subcontract orders using Coins software and agree terms
  • Manage contract variations and compensation events with both clients and subcontractors

Essential requirements of Quantity Surveyor

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) preferred
  • Full UK Driving License
