The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and sustainability. While experience in civil engineering projects is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct measurement and valuations
  • Prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
  • Monitor and review the financial performance of contracts
  • Provide project performance reports to senior management
  • Communicate with clients regarding project performance
  • Ensure timely customer payments within contract terms
  • Procure subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts
  • Price projects before contract agreement

Requirements:

  • Preferred: A degree in Quantity Surveying, but we also accept equivalent qualifications like HND or HNC.
  • Essential: Knowledge of NEC3/4 forms of contract
  • Interest in obtaining a relevant professional body membership, e.g., CICES or RICS
  • Experience in General Civil Engineering projects
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Drive, ambition, and strong interpersonal skills
  • A FULL UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 points
