Our client, a leading player in the steel industry, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Operator to join their dynamic Warehouse team in Cardiff . If you have a passion for logistics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position: Operator - Warehouse Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Cardiff Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 12-hour shifts)Starting Salary: £27,589 including shift supplementPost-Probation Salary: After 6 months rising to :£28,079 including shift supplement

What You'll Do:As a Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working in a busy heavy industry environment
- Loading and unloading goods with precision and care.
- Scanning products for inventory management.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operating Fork Trucks (Training provided)
What We're Looking For:
- Applicants must have a valid driving licence.
- Previous warehouse experience required but not essential
- A background in labouring, outdoor, or manual work a strong advantage
- FLT License a strong advantage but not essential
- A strong understanding of health and safety practises
*The successful applicant will be required to complete a medical prior to starting which includes a drug and alcohol test**
