About the Role:We are seeking an experienced German speaking Accounts Administrator to join our client's EU Shared Service Centre based in Newport. This role involves supporting various financial processes for European entities, requiring fluency in German and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Process Travel & Expenses submissions and answer related queries.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fluent German speaker.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a shared service environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
